Tina's Greyhound dark art and photoagaphy

End of the World dark art and photography

Welcome to Tina's Greyhounds and Art Site....

My love affair with animals began in childhood. As an adult I became involved and passionate about the treatment, rights, and rescue of all animals, especially greyhounds.  I've been an animal rights activist and vegetarian most of my life.

This site is about all of these things and is dedicated to animals everywhere. Browse through it for information on animal rescue, animal rights and lots of interesting animal art. Explore, have fun and share my passion for animals, art, and especially my surreal photography!

I have also created hand drawn prisma-colored pictures featuring various seasons as well as fun, happy times. In my pictures, I have left some greyhounds totally white for a reason- to represent the hundreds of thousands of greyhounds whose lives were cut short by man, thus they never had an opportunity to romp and play! I dedicate this work to them.

My RA-4 color photographs are created in the darkroom using a technique uniquely mine, which combines negatives and transparent overlays to create surreal places. My photos speak of futures devastated by nuclear war, pollution and other man made atrocities. Please read my artist statement for a more complete profile.

Besides internal links, there are links to many other Web sites that will educate you about animals and our responsibility to them. Our animal rights/welfare resources will be expanding in the coming months, so be sure to come back often!

End of the World dark art and photography

Through my photography I aim to stimulate one's vision and curiosity by creating a thought provoking and surreal world to experience. My photos speak of futures that have been ravaged by nuclear war and pollution, but many images are meant to banish any myths or concepts of man's relationship to animals, or lack of.
